The Universitas Riau Indonesia Website project was created as a comprehensive digital platform to enhance the university’s online visibility and streamline access to academic and administrative information. The main objective was to build a modern, responsive, and interactive website that represents the university’s identity while improving communication among students, faculty, and the public.
The system was developed using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the CodeIgniter framework, featuring an intuitive admin dashboard with multiple management modules under the MAIN MENU, including:
- MASTER: For managing core data such as Slider, About, Jenjang, User, Iklan, Info, and Contact.
- PROGRAM STUDI: To display detailed academic program information.
- TENTANG: A section dedicated to the university’s profile, vision, and mission.
- BERITA: Dynamic news and announcement management for campus updates.
- KEGIATAN: Showcasing campus activities, events, and student engagement.
- GALERI: A visual gallery displaying images and media of academic and extracurricular events.
- CAREER UNRIDA: A job and career information portal to connect students and alumni with professional opportunities.
The platform was designed with a focus on usability, scalability, and accessibility, ensuring smooth navigation on both desktop and mobile devices. It also incorporated security measures and a modular system architecture, allowing administrators to update content and manage data efficiently.
This project successfully elevated Universitas Riau Indonesia’s digital infrastructure, supporting its mission to deliver innovative education and strengthen its position as a technology-driven and globally connected academic institution.
