The Alumni Information System of SMKN 1 Kempas was developed as a digital platform designed to centralize, manage, and facilitate communication and data collection among alumni, current students, and the school administration. This system aims to strengthen the connection between the school and its alumni network by providing accurate, accessible, and well-organized information.
Built using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and the CodeIgniter framework, the system features a simple, responsive, and user-friendly interface. It enables the school to:
- Manage alumni data based on graduation year, department, and employment status.
- Track alumni careers, whether they continue their education or work in various sectors.
- Publish alumni news and activities, including reunions, training, and career collaboration programs.
- Search alumni records quickly and efficiently through advanced filtering and search functions.
The system also supports multi-user access, allowing school administrators, alumni association members, and individual alumni to log in with different access levels. Data security is ensured through authentication and basic encryption to protect user privacy.
Through this platform, SMKN 1 Kempas can effectively maintain communication with its alumni, expand networking opportunities, and utilize alumni data as a valuable resource for school development and educational improvement. This project represents a strategic step toward digital transformation in vocational education.
